Lanzarote Canary Islands





Lanzarote is the fourth largest of the Canaries, enjoying warm dry climates with average daily temperatures from 21 degrees in Winter to 29 degrees in Summer. Although a volcanic Island Lanzarote has many white sanded beaches such as at Playa Blanca as well as the natural black sands found all around the Island. Lanzarote is home to the World's longest volcanic tunnel at 'Jameos del Agua', rich in culture.

Lanzarote is home to some incredible water sports such as windsurfing, surfing, big game fishing and diving, for those more suited to land activities there are 18 hole golf courses, horse riding, trekking, gastronomy, great shopping, fabulous restaurants cafes and bars.

Puerto del Carmen is the busiest resort featuring bars such as Linekers and many others, once a small fishing village Puerto has grown into a large resort with a fantastic nightlife and a busy Sunday market that attracts holiday makers of all ages.

Further along the South coast you will find Playa Blanca, a small resort retaining much of its village character, the promenade is home to numerous cafes bars and restaurants, some to look out for in Playa are the highly recommended La Bocaina, Casa Pedro and Brisa Marina. Further North is Costa Teguise, boasting an Aquapark and golf course it has become a firm favourite with families and couples. Home to the ever popular Sands Beach Resort complex and some other magnificent hotels with direct beach access, Costa Teguise has a lot to offer, from windsurfing to good jewellery shops and busy nightlife.
