Located in the Mediterranean Sea, off the East coast of Spain, just 2 hours flight from the UK, Majorca has every ingredient imaginable for a memorable holiday. Majorca, the largest of the Islands, has numerous resorts and the coast line is dotted with family friendly sunspots, idyllic coves and long sandy beaches.
When landing you are only 20 minutes away from the bustling resorts of Palma Nova and Magaluf, popular with the younger crowd given the numerous bars and night clubs including the world famous BCM with its renowned foam parties! Magaluf has its own water park and possibly the best beach on the Island, with international fast food chains, bungee lifts, water sports including ringo's, banana rides, jet ski's, and non stop action Magaluf is Majorca's number one party resort.
To the East coast we find the sophisticated Cala D'or, once a small fishing village it is now a low rise resort but still has the village feel, there are many small coves with small sandy beaches with limited water sports available. With many cafes and restaurants offering great food and a low key atmosphere, Cala D'or is a firm favourite with families looking for a relaxed holiday. Further along the East coast are the family resorts of Calas De Mallorca, Sa Coma and Cala Bona, all are much the same as Cala D'or with lovely coves and crystal waters, the emphasis being low key with nice restaurants and bars.
Up to the North of the Island we find Alcudia with its harbour and lively front, there is plenty to do here including a water park, crazy golf courses, disco's, fine restaurants and bars are plentiful. Alcudia has some of the Islands best all inclusive properties as well as a great selection of hotels and apartments. Just up the road past Alcudia's medieval old town is Puerto Pollensa with the famous Pinewalk. Pollensa is a stunning little town with a fabulous beach and town square where you will find lovely restaurants and a relaxed ambience with the Tramuntana mountain range in the backdrop.
