The Kassandra Palace Hotel

The Kassandra Palace Hotel Complex is located on the first peninsula of Halkidiki – Kassandra. The hotel is right next to the blue Aegean Sea with a beautiful green backdrop of lush evergreen trees and surrounded by beautiful gardens and on a golden sandy beach which is awarded the Blue Flag every year due to its clean sands and waters. The combination of the high quality services, the professionalism and the hospitality of the staff assures all guests of an unforgettable holiday.

The village of Kriopigi is just up the hill from the hotel and has a small selection of restaurants and shops and there is a free shuttle bus available from the hotel. A 10 minute drive will take you to the larger resort of Kalithea or if you head in the other direction you will find the villages of Polychrono and Hanioti – again about a 10 minute drive away. A local bus service is also available from outside the hotel for the nearby resorts and Thessaloniki. Or you can order a taxi from the reception.

Having been under renovation for the last year, the work is now almost complete with the last part for renovation over Winter 2009/10 being the family suites which are being completely changed to make them more updated, comfortable and modern to match the rest of the hotel.

Halkidiki is the most frequented tourist destination in Northern Greece and one of the most stunning areas in the country. Made up of three peninsulas: Kassandra, Sithonia and Agion Oros (Mount Athos), Kassandra is the westernmost peninsula of Halkidiki and is closest to Thessaloniki.

Renowned for its lovely beaches located next to forested areas, Kassandra has a very well-developed tourist infrastructure, providing visitors with a wide array of shops, tavernas, restaurants, clubs, bars and cafes, as well as organized historical and archaeological sites which are well worth a visit.

Accommodation
The Kassandra Palace Hotel has 323 rooms, offering either a Deluxe Room or Family Suites. Difference being the Family Suites consist of a separate bedroom and a separate living room area which has two sofa beds that can be used to sleep two extra people. All accomodation has been recently renovated and are comfortable, clean and well furnished, making visitors feel at home.

Rooms include a balcony area, radio, phone, frigde, bath & shower, hairdryer, air-conditioning/ heating and satellite TV.
