The Costa Blanca is situated on the East coast and is home to the famous Benidorm some 45 minutes from Alicante Airport. It is a popular choice of destination for a holiday particularly during the summer months.

The Costa Blanca or White Coast named after it's fantastic beaches has many traditional Spanish towns that have given in to tourism but yet retained their original character and charm. North of Benidorm are resorts such as Altea, a typical small town with narrow streets and friendly local people, here there is the fabulous Altea Hills resort, a luxury 5* hotel offering spa treatments.

Further North is Calpe, a miniature Benidorm with great shopping and an abundance of restaurants and bars  with the majority of hotels being high rise. Just 8km's from here is the sleepy resort of Moraira with its fabulous beach and marina. Moraira has plenty of shops and some lovely apartments and villas to rent.

Benidorm is probably the most famous location in the Costa Blanca and has recently opened is the Terra Natura zoo and water park that compliment the magnificent Terra Mittica theme park with its roller coasters. For a more relaxing day, head for the gorgeous Blue Flag Levante beach, hosting to numerous ice cream, tapas bars, patisseries and restaurants. If you are in a shopping mood then head for the old town where you can find designer clothes stores, local leather goods, duty free and an abundance of shoe shops.

Benidorm has hundreds of styles of cuisine, from Mexican to Spanish to English you wont struggle for somewhere to eat. For the evening entertainment Benidorm really comes to life with live shows, disco's, karaoke, bingo and tenpin bowling.
